ACCESS TO MUSIC DIPLOMA

Course Leader: Virginia Firnberg
Like a foundation course in music, this course helps learners who already have existing musical skills, prepare for a music degree in one year full time. Entrance is by an initial skills test in numeracy and literacy and by audition and interview. Course Starts in September. To get into the full time course you must have 6 years experience or Grade 6 on your main instrument and 3 years experience or Grade 3 on piano. You must also have 6 years of notation experience or grade 5 theory.   See website for more information. 

COMPOSITION AND MUSICIANSHIP COURSES

Composition Seminar 
A workshop based class for composers with 5-7 years experience on an instrument  or completion of Composition Seminar 1. Students will have the opportunity to have their pieces played by visiting professional musicians. Term 1: Vocal, 15 Sept 2010 £110/£81. Term 2: Piano, 12 Jan 2011, £91/£74. Term 3: Chamber Music, 4 May, £83/67.
